Please drive safely and give yourself extra time to arrive safely and timely for picking up children during our snowy and cold season. Our late pick up policy will only be waived during snow storms. If Minneapolis Public Schools close due to weather, SRLA will also be closed (UNLESS the closure is due to temperature concerns with children waiting at bus stops, in which case we will have a late start/early closure since our children don’t ride the bus). If Minneapolis Public Schools have a late start, SRLA will open at 8:30 am. If Minneapolis Public Schools close early, SRLA will close at 4:30 pm. Please check WCCO for any weather closure alerts (https://www.cbsnews.com/minnesota/school-closings/) and be on the lookout for a closure/late start alert from MPS Public Schools. If they decide to close or start late due to the winter weather advisory, SRLA will be following suit and you will also be notified via Brightwheel.
